Consistent with every 1977 Columbia reissue by Miles, the audio quality and instrument distinction on these records is superb. Perfect pair with “Four & More.”
My version is almost perfect, with just a bit of slight crackling towards the end of side two. It's smooth, balanced, and clear.
I snatched this up from MoFi when it mysteriously showed up in stock. Gave it a spin last night and I'm happy to report that my copy is pristine: no warps, dead center, crystal clear, and not a trace of IGD (or at least, I don't hear any). The audio is rich, roomy, and wide-open. I've got a couple of these Miles MoFi pressings now and, in my opinion, this one sounds the best so far. Definitely give it a shot - if you manage to find a copy.
This one's a bit of a gamble. After two returns to Amazon due to pops and clicks, I'm not willing to take the risk on the high price unless I'm certain I'll get a flawless copy.
