This album is incredibly powerful. Shame about the cover, though. It's one of the ugliest covers I've ever come across. Nearly as bad as those awful Elvis albums from the 70s!
Among my top Vangelis records, this one's criminally overlooked. The sound quality's superb, even if the CD feels a tad fragile. Jotting this down a few days post his passing - rest in peace.

More measured and composed than his soundtracks, and less obscure than "Beaubourg" or "Invisible Connections", "Mask" conceals some truly remarkable music.
