Fantastic pressing! 👌👌👌 No surface noise, no pops, no clicks, just a flat record. Highly recommended 👌
I was part of a church group that appeared to be fixated on Coldplay, though I'm not entirely sure why, but this fascination reached its height with the launch of this particular album. I became familiar with it more through passive exposure than any deliberate effort. However, when I finally decided to buy the album and give it a proper listen, I was genuinely impressed. It brought me back to the melancholic vibes of their earlier work. Even now, it remains one of my top favorite Coldplay albums.
Mind-blowingly fantastic audio, Coldplay on vinyl is the top choice as it consistently delivers a more expansive, rich, emotive, and vibrant experience.
Picked this up on impulse 'cause the eco-record idea caught my attention, and it sounds awesome! Stunning audio quality with just a couple of surface noise hiccups. Super neat to witness eco-friendly records stepping up their game these days.
This record has been labeled many things - monotonous, gloomy, uninspired, overly polished... but I'm utterly captivated by it. To me, it's a quintessential late-period Coldplay masterpiece. The sound is incredibly rich and gorgeous, particularly on this pressing. It's not just about adding electronic elements - it's a band genuinely exploring how to integrate ambient and electronic textures. They even collaborated with Jon Hopkins, for instance. The first side, especially, is phenomenal. Those delicate trills in 'Always In My Head' are just sublime.
