Perhaps I'm just fortunate, but the one I got arrived sounding really nice & top-notch.
This album really packs a punch, and it's not shy about it. It's quite loud and punchy. There's a bit of noise between songs, though. About two-thirds of it sounds fantastic, but the remaining third could use some improvement, especially for a limited Japanese pressing like this one, in my opinion. For instance, there's some sibilance on the inner tracks, as others have mentioned. But hey, I've never listened to this on vinyl before, so who am I to judge?

The audio quality is quite nice, a bit scratchy initially, but after giving it a good clean and playing it a few times, it's all sorted. The pressing seems alright, and these records are among the thickest and heaviest I've ever come across. I don't have other versions to compare it to, but to my ears, it doesn't sound more squashed or high-end boosted than the album usually does.
I'm really diggin' this pressing. It's got that same vibe as the original press.
