Visually appealing but the audio quality is awful. It's not worth the price. The sound is dull, lacking bass and any real depth.
This is easily one of the top boxsets I've ever been fortunate enough to own, and at just £200, it's an absolute bargain considering the original's sky-high price. The mastering on this release is superb, with Sony Japan clearly putting a lot of effort into it. The Manchester City blue records are gorgeous, and the entire boxset is thoughtfully put together with some delightful little extras. Grab one now while they're around £250, because once all 2000 copies are gone, the price will surely soar. I was relieved to secure mine since Amazon Japan had stopped international orders. The additional album art card was a lovely bonus from the seller as well.
For anyone curious, I can verify that Sunday Morning Call is indeed a hidden track, it comes after the Japan exclusive bonus track 14 at 6.48! Hope that clears thing up!!!
When this came out, I got it straight from hmv.jp, and guess what? No 10 inch photo book was in there. Just a heads up, it's not included in the package, likely a bonus from certain shops.
I'm currently playing these 2 CDs and I'm genuinely puzzled by the previous comments regarding the mastering. It's spot on, it's just like most of my other Oasis CDs. Actually, this one even sounds better than my 2025 4LP edition. And most importantly: Champagne Supernova is included on this US 2CD version!
