Whether a review is positive, negative, or neutral, we always publish it. However, we screen every review to ensure it is authentic and free of profanity. These checks happen automatically, though a human occasionally steps in. We never pay for reviews.
Great rich audio. This is one of my best sounding Culture albums. I've got a couple of the other versions and they weren't very good.
Great rich audio. This is one of my top Culture albums in terms of sound quality. I've got a couple other pressings, but they weren't nearly as good.
Some tracks on this album have a dancehall feel, but the vocals and harmonies are as brilliant as always. Joseph Hill delivers strong lyrics with some infectious melodies. The 1986 UK pressing is in great shape, though the production can be a bit cold at times. The vinyl sounds good, with a clear soundstage and well-balanced levels throughout. My copy plays smoothly with just a bit of light surface noise here and there.
