This Is An Essential CD For The 5 New Songs Which Are Among The Finest Penned & Produced Songs In MJ's Entire Catalog. The Remixes With The Exceptions Of 2Bad refugee camp mix & Scream Louder flyte time mix Are Pure Filler And Not Really Worth Your Time Unless One Likes That Type Of Late 90's Club Remix Type Thing. What I Really Love About This Album Is The Sound, It Has A Really Unique Sound In Regards To The Mix And Mastering Like A Really Special Gloss And Polish At Least In Terms Of The New Songs That Really Benefit MJ's Voice And The Vibe Of The New Songs, Especially The Title Track, Superfly Sister & Is It Scary. Oh And This Album Has Morphine, One Of The Last Major Masterpieces MJ Did In His Life Time, A Once In A Lifetime Achievement In Blending Nine Inch Nails Industrial Rock Sounds With A Grinding Dance Groove With An Infectious Chorus And Vocal Layering.
Warning, this was NOT a good print. Purchased a sealed version. The grooves seem off or something, a few songs skip. Heard from others with the same problem. Don't waste your money!
The 10 Minute Mix of This Time Around has gone through some major tweaks. It first came out on the 12" of They Don't Care About Us (49X 78212) back in 1996. The extended mix also got its own release, though it was just a promo (7602 S1). Then, in 2006, an iTunes digital exclusive EP called "Visionary Remixes" included the album mix with yet another different arrangement - this is the only official digital version of the 10 minute mix. There are at least 4 versions of the same track, ranging from 10:21 to 10:23, with slight instrumentation changes noticeable on each mix. - I'm not fussy, I'm just on the spectrum.

Incredible edition, featuring a 24-page booklet packed with lyrics, photos, and text... The CD print is gorgeous, showcasing a striking red/black design over the silver background. The album includes fresh takes on classic tracks.
