I just compared a -2 UK version with a Wally US press. The US one sounds alright, but this UK edition has that extra bit of magic! The bass is where you notice the biggest difference—it's way tighter and clearer, the dynamics are solid, but since this record was mastered hot, it's got more punch than the original US. Treat yourself and grab one!
I own this edition and bought it brand new. It came with a slipcase but no obi strip. Just so you know, this is hands down my all-time favorite digital rendition of this album. No two ways about it, the audio quality is absolutely flawless. The bass is phenomenal and hits hard. Doesn't sound like a CD...it sounds like a live performance. You'll have to pry this from my cold, dead hands...LOL!
The audio quality is superb, although I picked up a tiny bit of distortion on Let Me Roll It, apart from that. It's an awesome rendition of this incredible album. I particularly liked the various versions of Band On The Run :)
This is the ultimate, the best, even a cassette copy of this album outshines every other version.
I've got a copy of this, it's got the same cover (1977 anniversary logo), but the label on my disc is the orange apple one from 1974.
We don't have a live price right now, but stock fluctuates daily. You can check for hidden stock on Amazon directly, or let us alert you as soon as it is available.
