Arguably Vangelis's finest work from his Nemo Studio era under RCA, this record boasts two exceptional pieces (Pulstar and Alpha - with the latter being part of the Cosmos TV show) but Nucleogenesis is an absolute masterpiece that highlights Vangelis at his creative peak. The opening track Albedo 0.39 is eerily enchanting and gorgeous.
Incredible, gorgeous pressing. Sound is amazing, truly breathtaking. Cover pic is just a tad different since it's scanned from the original. Still, absolutely worth it!
This album doesn't quite fit the "Ambient" or "Berlin-School" styles at all.
