Fantastic reissue! Thrilled to find this one got another pressing, since it was the sole Depeche Mode studio album I required to finish my collection of their studio releases. It's a subtle pressing, but turn up the volume and relish “It’s No Good” in all its high-fidelity splendor!
I purchased it brand new, still in its sealed packaging. The disc's quality is disappointing, with numerous clicks throughout. I only bought it due to the gray vinyl. I wouldn't suggest it to others.
Picked it up recently, snagged it for a lower price, likely due to it being a 2017 release. I'd heard warnings not to go for the newer DM reissues, with people saying they sound dull and lack depth. But that's not the case here at all! It's got a really nice, rich sound, and it's incredibly quiet. I'm genuinely impressed with the quality. The only downside is that the record is a tad warped, but it doesn't mess with the sound any.
sounds awesome, can´t really notice much of a difference from the original.
This specific release is quite poor. The audio is rather dull, missing clarity and punch, and it's also plagued by too much surface hiss. The CD version is definitely superior.
