  • Decent, But Not Exceptional

    3 out of 5 stars
    Naek0QuqJanuary 9, 2026United States🇺🇸

This album is pretty good, though it's not quite as exceptional as many might hope, especially considering the masterpiece that came before it five years prior. Side A features a sort of suite with three tracks that blend into one another and share a similar sound. It's not terrible for what it is, but it lacks the warmth that Kraftwerk usually brings to balance out their colder elements. Side B, in my view, is stronger. It adopts a more traditional approach with three distinct pop songs that don't connect thematically. "The Telephone Call" stands out for me, as it's the only track featuring Karl Bartos on vocals. "Sex Object" is also noteworthy with its digital strings, though the guitar plucks might have been toned down a bit. The final track is solid too, but I don't have much more to say about it. 3/5.

  • Kraftwerk's Kling Klang Excellence

    5 out of 5 stars
    ITQPPpincokfazxowJanuary 3, 2026United States🇺🇸

Consistent with many Kraftwerk's Kling Klang outputs, this album delivers top-notch sound quality. For this version, the original barcode's been obscured, and the record's marked with a 2009 date. I'm spinning it on my Stanton 680 HP, and each track packs the punch of a premium 12" single. You'll definitely be satisfied with this edition.

  • Vinyl Quality Shines Bright

    5 out of 5 stars
    ybruxwDecember 9, 2025United States🇺🇸

The vinyl's mastering and pressing are top-notch. It's quiet, with great dynamics – both the highs and lows shine. The obi strip design is really nice and complements the artwork well. "Electric Café" offers a different vibe compared to "The Man-Machine," so it's definitely worth owning both.

  • Kraftwerk Masterpiece Shines

    5 out of 5 stars
    galegesniksaNovember 25, 2025United States🇺🇸

The pressing is top-notch, the record is flawless, spins smoothly and without any noise. The audio is superb, rich in detail, with a great stereo image and solid bass. The artwork and insert are top-tier. Every Kraftwerk album is a masterpiece that only improves with each listen. This one's no different, it's truly outstanding. I'd highly recommend it.
