Whether a review is positive, negative, or neutral, we always publish it. However, we screen every review to ensure it is authentic and free of profanity. These checks happen automatically, though a human occasionally steps in. We never pay for reviews.
While mine lacks the sticker (and any leftover residue), the printed matrix does indeed verify it's a Columbia House reissue.
Bright and clear highs with excellent detail. Outshines the murky and darker US version.
I picked this up on a whim a few years back, not really knowing any better, but it's turned out to be amazing. The sound quality is great with no hiss, and it's got a really bold, powerful audio.
The pressing is top-notch, the record is perfectly flat, spins smoothly, and has no distortion. The audio quality is fantastic, with great detail, a wide stereo image, and solid bass (I own the original version and can't detect any difference, though this one might be cleaner overall with absolutely no background noise). The covers and insert are top-tier. Every Kraftwerk album is a masterpiece that only improves with each listen. While their albums up until the late 80s are arguably their best, I enjoy them all. This edition can easily replace the original if you're looking to save money and avoid risks. I wholeheartedly recommend it. Enjoy...Setup used: Technics SL-100C, Ortofon Concorde Music Bronze, Rega Fono MM MK5, Technics SU-G700M2, Yamaha NS-777, Vinyl Cleaner Pro-Ject VC-E
The pressing is top-notch, the record lies perfectly flat, and it plays smoothly without any distortion (though it has some scratches from years of use, the crackling and popping is hardly noticeable). The audio quality is superb, with impressive detail, a wide stereo image, and solid bass. The cover art is also well-made. Every Kraftwerk album is a classic that only improves with each listen. While their albums up to the late 80s might be the best, I enjoy them all. Highly recommend it.
