Lately, I swapped my US press for this European one since the US version had a few issues I wasn't thrilled about. Specifically, there was some inner groove distortion on STFTK, plus other minor things that made me wonder if they were mastering or pressing problems. After listening to this version, it's obvious this is the superior one. The mastering is way better—more clarity, improved soundstage, better dynamics… honestly, every aspect is an upgrade. And while the inner groove distortion isn't entirely gone, it's much improved and doesn't interfere with enjoying the music. If you're choosing between versions at comparable prices, I'd definitely go for the European press. Still holding out hope that one day I can find a Kevin Gray SRC press at a fair price, but for now, this is fantastic.
The audio quality is truly outstanding and confirms that this is likely my top pick of their releases. It's proof that a basic black vinyl can outdo all the flashy splatter and colored versions.
Wow, this sounds awesome! These Blink reissues are pretty decent. The guitars really pack a punch and have a nice boom, particularly on 'Stay Together for the Kids'.
