Holy shit, this sounds fuckin' insane, a brutal sonic attack of a record and album, pure HELL on earth
This album's mastering is absolutely fantastic!! I have a copy, and I genuinely suggest that if you're thinking about getting an earlier version, make sure to grab this initial pressing!
Wtf. Mine's got two a side seasons in the abyss stickers. Anyone els?
Side two starts abruptly, missing the first beat of "Criminally Insane." I'm unsure about other pressings, but the rain fade-out at the end feels too rushed, odd for an LP with sides around 15 minutes each. Apart from that, it sounds fantastic.
This album is absolutely amazing. The pressing is super quiet and the sound quality is quite impressive. The only issue I have is that the double bass is a bit muddy and doesn't really pop out in the mix. But hey, if you come across this pressing for a fair price, grab it without hesitation, it's totally worth it.
