I'm puzzled by the initial comments regarding the pressing quality. There's barely any surface noise, and all three vinyl records are in Mint condition. The sound quality is outstanding, and the sleeves and cover are top-notch. There's just one minor issue: the inner sleeves don't quite fit in the cover. It could be a tad wider.
Un registro fantastico, imprescindible para los que adoramos el "verdadero Queen", el de los 70s. El prensado? El tipico prensado de Laser Disc Argentina, discos sucios y con rayas que no deberian estar en un disco nuevo.
Marvelously imperfect. The radio sessions are absolutely brilliant, featuring some amazing renditions of my all-time favorite Queen tracks. White Queen and Spread Your Wings are particularly standout. Plus, we finally get the fast version of We Will Rock You. I think it might have been a B-side before, but it deserved its own album spot alongside the other session tracks. Now, the live stuff... well, it's not a must-have. Especially with the Rainbow concert out now. Don't get me wrong—I'm always up for some classic Queen live music, but the Magic show tracks are a bit overplayed, and while the 1981 tracks are great, there just aren't enough of them. I do quite enjoy the Golders Green show, though. Interviews. Who listens to those more than once? I think I've heard them, but I'm not in a hurry to revisit them. It's a neat little box set. The booklet's alright, covers all the necessary details. Wrapping up, it's not a bad release by any means. The standout bits are truly outstanding. It's just the filler that brings it down. 8/10, mostly thanks to the first two disks. Sound quality is good.
The sound quality of my pressing is absolutely amazing—hardly any clicks or pops, and the mastering is truly excellent. The only issue I have is with the packaging, as it's so snug that the LP inserts struggle to fit into the sleeve, particularly disc 2, which is the middle one.
