Fantastic pressing. The vinyl is super quiet and has a great wide soundstage with excellent clarity. My copy has no problems with distortion or anything like that.
I got my MSiCM vinyl in January 2016. The cover is a really cool gatefold, which I don't see anyone talking about here. Was this album re-released with a gatefold cover, or has it always had one? Everything else, like the barcode, matches what's been mentioned. I've got the PL/PL version and I'm quite pleased with the audio quality. Funny enough, I noticed a locking groove on the start of Side B, which is something I've read others mention about the VMP pressing. It's not a big issue for me, but it did throw me off since I thought this was a problem only with the CHL version. Has anyone else come across this????
Minimal surface noise, and happily, my version doesn't have any of that distortion issue.
Without a doubt, this is the finest vinyl version of this album I've come across. My copy delivers an incredible sound, which is a huge improvement over the terrible previous releases.
