This pressing is way better than the gold metallic one, it's the version you wanna have. My gold metallic copy is full of non-fill and noise. Mastering is gorgeous.
The noise from the surface on my copy is awful. I've got another one, this time on black vinyl, and I'm wondering if it's any better. It's a shame because the mastering and the songs are gorgeous.
The sound quality of my copy is fantastic. Just like many new record players, this one needed a good clean. And what an amazing collection of tunes we've been given yet again by good ol' Sturgill. I'm truly happy to be alive at the same time as this incredible artist.
man, my version sounds absolutely amazing.. it's getting tougher to believe these reviews. so many folks griping about surface noise, and whatnot… mine is dead silent and plays perfectly. hoping the same goes for you all.
Absolutely adore it! Fantastic album, this guy might just turn out to be a real musical prodigy. Quick query: where does everyone slot it in their vinyl collection? I organize mine alphabetically and stash solo artists under their last name (unlike what Discogs does), so where does this one go? I suppose as long as I can locate it, it's all good, but these are the things that can keep me tossing and turning at night...
