HUGE, in-your-face guitar assault! Solid low-end balance and a deep, immersive 3D soundstage. This is how punk rock should sound: fierce yet with a playful wink. You can truly feel the grit in those power chords, and the snap and reverb on the snare drum is fucking phenomenal. It's got that raw edge missing from today's remasters. Highly, highly recommended! This clean pressing sounds really nice and smooth. It's got good definition across all frequencies. The vocals are a tad too sharp, and the high frequencies are a bit distorted. Comparing it to my original press, I can definitely hear the difference. This one's much sharper, so they probably didn't use the original tapes for this reissue.
Man, this record really hits the spot... It's got some serious weight to it, way more than the first Sires pressing, and it's got that 'carbona not glue' thing going on (so now the vinyl with 'sheena is a punk rocker' is gonna be the hard-to-find one, huh? ), plus it comes with printed inners.
