  • Affordable Enchanting Vinyl

    5 out of 5 stars
    zuylxin.cetpimJanuary 10, 2026United States🇺🇸

Believe me, this is the pressing you've been looking for of this truly enchanting recording. Don't waste 10 times more money buying an original pressing like I did. This version has restored my confidence in affordable, modern vinyl production. Grab it new for $25 while you still can.

  • UK vs European Pressing Quality

    5 out of 5 stars
    haocxoihebacbjJanuary 6, 2026United States🇺🇸

I bought this and the European version to compare, and they're almost the same (except for the first 4 seconds of Taphead missing on the UK release). I reckon (like most new records) both versions have good and bad pressings, and that's more about the factory's quality control. I've also seen that lots of people had problems with the first pressing too. My tip is to buy from a place with a good return policy and keep swapping until you find a decent one.

  • Kevin Gray's Cut Disaster

    1 out of 5 stars
    Xir_YenvuodDecember 31, 2025United States🇺🇸

This is really bad, I gotta say. Kevin gray's cut is just awful. I can't believe he could mess up this much. Seems like there aren't any decent copies of this album around. It's full of surface noise and pressing issues, even with RTI! What a disaster...

  • Inconsistent Pressing Quality

    5 out of 5 stars
    HpPacLowhvSevadmgDecember 30, 2025United States🇺🇸

It appears that the quality of this pressing is quite inconsistent. I had a similar issue with the Ba Da Bing pressing, which I ultimately decided to sell. I can attest that, like mine, some copies are actually quite good. If you're not willing to gamble on it, you might want to consider the highly praised European pressing instead. I'm just relieved that my copy isn't as loud as my Ba Da Bing was. It's a real shame that such a great record is plagued by these terribly poor pressings. The plant should be embarrassed.

  • Great Album

    5 out of 5 stars
    Tozebvudla42December 25, 2025United States🇺🇸

Having spun this album five times straight, I'm utterly blown away! It's quite an atypical Talk Talk release, yet there's an undeniable allure that reels you in. I'm sure I'll give it another five plays—why not? And hey, the audio quality of this green vinyl bootleg is perfectly fine in my book. It sounds fantastic when you crank it up!

About Talk Talk

Talk Talk, formed in London in 1981, began as a synth-pop group, quickly gaining traction with their debut album "The Party's Over" and follow-up "It's My Life," both of which spawned international hits like "Talk Talk" and "It's My Life." Their sound evolved significantly over the years, blending new wave and synthpop elements with more experimental and jazz-influenced styles. The band's 1986 album "The Colour of Spring" was a critical success, featuring the beloved singles "Life's What You Make It" and "Living in Another World." Their 1988 release "Spirit of Eden" marked a bold shift towards a more atmospheric and improvisational sound, laying the groundwork for the post-rock genre. Despite commercial challenges, Talk Talk's innovative approach and rich musical evolution have left a lasting impact on the music world.
