Has anyone heard if they've shared how many of the Castaways Sea Glass were made? They went out of stock super quick, so I'm really wondering what the number was.
Two discs, same issue. Sent them both back. Awful quality.
Unbelievably hushed. Like... maybe twice as silent as a regular 33 RPM record, and even more so than high-end audiophile stuff. This and Castaways share the same problem, so, yep. You'll crank it up to full volume and it still won't quite reach that immersive 3D stereo sound you're after, unless, I guess, you've got a really powerful preamp and speaker system? Still... pretty letdown - poor mastering.
My version is also super loud, which is really bumming me out.
The sound quality of my copy is fantastic, even in the softer sections. Plus, the album artwork is gorgeous.
