  • Divine Pressing, Incredible Sound Quality

    5 out of 5 stars
    SvhameDecember 24, 2025United States🇺🇸

Absolutely divine pressing! No surface noise, perfectly flat, and with incredible dynamics, particularly in the mids and bass. I've never experienced this album sounding this fantastic before!

  • 2019 Remaster Falls Short

    5 out of 5 stars
    QPTurxDecember 4, 2025United States🇺🇸

Interestingly, I thought the 2019 remasters sounded inferior to this version; there was noticeably less clarity and punch, so I passed the newer one along to a friend who enjoyed the music. This wasn't the case for all the 2019 remasters, but for this particular one, that's how it played out for me. The pressing quality is subpar, with more imperfections and hiss, but they still spin without any problems.

  • Thrilled by Side C Pressing

    5 out of 5 stars
    IgqonuDecember 4, 2025United States🇺🇸

I'm just here to express how thrilled I am that the whole side C got pressed for 'Refractions In The Plastic Pulse'. It sounds so incredible, it's absurd!

  • Impressive LP with Bonus Disk

    5 out of 5 stars
    sexiqHDGDecember 1, 2025United States🇺🇸

This is easily one of the most impressive LPs I've owned. The design and packaging quality are truly outstanding, and as a bonus, my copy came in a handy resealable sleeve. The audio quality is excellent as well. However, I was a bit puzzled as to why this album is advertised as a 2-disk set when it actually includes a third bonus disk in this re-release.

  • Duplicate Discs in Record Set

    5 out of 5 stars
    rahabksvNovember 30, 2025United States🇺🇸

Has anyone else encountered an issue with this record only coming with two discs, with the second disc being a duplicate of the first instead of being disc 3? I purchased copies from two separate stores in Montreal, and both had this exact problem.

About Stereolab

Stereolab, the iconic Anglo-French avant-pop band, has been captivating audiences since their formation in London in 1990. Led by the dynamic duo of Tim Gane and Lætitia Sadier, Stereolab's sound is a mesmerizing blend of krautrock and 1960s French pop, characterized by repetitive motorik beats, vintage electronic keyboards, and Sadier's enchanting vocals in both English and French. Their lyrics delve into political and philosophical themes, drawing inspiration from Surrealist and Situationist art movements. On stage, Stereolab transforms their sound into a more feedback-driven and guitar-oriented experience. Over the years, they have expanded their musical palette to include influences from funk, jazz, and Brazilian music, making each performance a unique and immersive journey. With a rich discography and a dedicated following, Stereolab continues to push the boundaries of avant-pop, offering a live experience that is as intellectually stimulating as it is sonically engaging.
