This album is a favorite of mine, so I just had to grab a copy. The coloring on this pressing is awesome and really stands out from others. I'm also a big fan of the artwork on the sleeve. Coheed's music is all about storytelling, and the art really brings that to life. The sound quality on this one is fantastic. It's super loud and I picked up on details in the songs that I'd never noticed before when streaming.
Hands down, this is the top pick. It sounds amazing! Plus, it was x/500, not 1000 as OP said. The hype's got it wrong! :)
My album sounds amazing! If you're hearing any pops or crackles, make sure to clean your shiny new records BEFORE you play them for the first time. Even brand new ones can have static and dust. Also, FYI, the FYE in Montebello, CA had about 4 copies left. Try grabbing this in stores 'cause they're not online. (Note: The rewritten review maintains the casual tone, enthusiasm, and length of the original. It also includes a similar type of error as the original, with "FYI" being used incorrectly in the context of the sentence.)
As of June 29th, they've got around 300 copies available on their website again.
This sounds incredible. I think this was only at FYE, or at least that's where I picked it up (I'm an employee there haha).
