Check it out on vinyl, 180g, Original 9 Track, packed with expanded liner notes and lyrics. Direct Metal Mastered straight from the original analogue tapes! Naturally, it's out via Polar Music AB.
Fantastic album release! Even with the digital recording, it has a warm and lively sound. The bass is deep, the highs are clear and detailed, and the vocals are superb. The surface noise is virtually non-existent.
I'm going through every album in my collection, and this pressing has truly amazed me, more than any in a long time. The level of detail, separation, and clarity in every aspect of each track is something you rarely come across, even in pressings aimed at audiophiles. Nothing feels exaggerated or misplaced; the highs, mids, and lows are all just right. The vocals shine through, and you can easily tell Agnetha apart from Frida when they sing together (which isn't always possible with ABBA releases). Without a doubt, this is the ultimate way to experience this masterpiece of an album. I'm not sure about the double vinyl reissue, but I don't think it's necessary—this one is pretty unbeatable.
I'm currently going through every album in my collection, and I must say, this pressing has truly amazed me, more so than any others I've encountered recently. The level of detail and clarity in each song is extraordinary, something you rarely come across, even in those pressings aimed at audiophiles. Everything is perfectly balanced; the highs, mids, and lows are all just right. The vocals are crystal clear, and you can easily tell Agnetha apart from Frida when they sing together (which, let's be honest, isn't always possible with ABBA releases). Without a doubt, this is the ultimate way to experience this incredible album. I'm not sure about the double vinyl repressing, but I don't think it's necessary. This one is simply unbeatable.
I'm going through all the albums in my collection, and I must say, this pressing has truly amazed me—it's been a while since I've come across one like this. The level of detail, separation, and clarity in every single part of each track is something you rarely find, even in those "audiophile-focused" releases. Nothing feels exaggerated or misplaced; the highs, mids, and lows are all just right. The vocals shine through, and you can actually tell Agnetha apart from Frida when they sing together (which, let's be honest, isn't always possible with ABBA's other releases). Without a doubt, this is THE ultimate way to experience this album masterpiece. I'm not sure about the double vinyl version, but I don't think it's necessary—this one's pretty unbeatable.
