Whether a review is positive, negative, or neutral, we always publish it. However, we screen every review to ensure it is authentic and free of profanity. These checks happen automatically, though a human occasionally steps in. We never pay for reviews.
The audio quality is fantastic and the production is well-done. The packaging is quite neat too, if you're into that sort of thing.
Does anyone know which version I own? It's not the trifold one, but it has the same single jacket and runouts as this version. However, the vinyl is see-through and colored in an orange-red hue. I'm certain it's a Saddle Creek pressing, so it can't be the newer Dead Oceans version with the orangish tint. But I can't find any evidence of a single sleeve pressing ever having colored vinyl. I thought it was this version, but maybe someone just swapped the colored record from the trifold into this one. But the colors don't match up with that either! The trifold pressing is black and red, whereas mine is clearly red-orange with some yellow. It doesn't seem like a bootleg, but I'm stumped! It just feels like this press but with a unique color. I can confirm the sound is amazing, but I'm so perplexed! If anyone has any info, please let me know. I might ask Conor after a show, though I doubt he'll remember.
