I've had the chance to own both the US and European 2004 vinyl editions of The Grind Date. Absolutely killer album, by the way. When it comes to sound quality, my ears can't spot any differences between the two. But, if you're holding the covers and looking at the inner sleeves, you'll notice a big contrast. The European version is printed on much thicker paper, which I personally prefer. So, if you haven't yet grabbed this incredible De La album, I'd highly suggest going for this version. Cheers!
Without a doubt, 'Rock Co. Kane Flow' stands tall as one of the most epic instrumentals and collaborations ever! Big ups to DOOM, Jake One, and De La!
This pressing is fantastic, it sounds amazing with no surface noise, just as good as the original, if not better, especially with the added instrumentals.
