Amazing sounding record, a bit of surface noise but it's not really noticeable most of the time, bass is strong but doesn't make it messy, fantastic soundstage. [1]

The tunes themselves are absolutely fantastic. Or, to put it more precisely, they could be; Unfortunately, the pressing quality is quite a letdown and occasionally significantly disrupts the listening experience (audio/vinyl):A: some faint ticks/plainB: recurring whooshy „scratch“ all over/light bumpC: persistent crackling & recurring scratchy sound (la mer!)/off center D: slight noise on the outer tracks decreasing towards the middle/off centerE: quiet/warpedF: quiet/small bumpy „hick up“Looking forward to the next re-press, I suppose …
For those who bought this after October 2022, take a look at your copy, chances are you've got Nine Inch Nails - The Fragile instead. The simplest way to spot it is by checking for a Netherlands reference on the back of the gatefold.
I grabbed the fragile 2cd on its release date and have been a huge fan of this album for ages. This version is the CLEAREST I've ever heard it sound. Amazing pressing, zero problems—this is top-notch!!!
