While not Santana's finest musical work, this album is still quite good. The vinyl record is nearly flawless. It's incredibly quiet and flat. The mastering is top-notch. The highs and mids are crystal clear, and the bass is just right! Unlike many modern pressings, it's not overpowering. I'd call it perfect, but the center hole on disc 2 was too tight. Fortunately, I have a center hole reamer to fix that. The cover art is clearly just a blown-up version of the CD cover. It's quite blurry in comparison. The cover is cheaply made with plain paper sleeves, which honestly shouldn't be used anymore. I replaced mine with new antistatic sleeves. I'm glad to own this album.
Amazing record pressing! The vinyl is so quiet, not a single crackle or pop! The sound quality is incredible! I wore out the CD when it first released. The vinyl's sound is way better in comparison. The cover and inner sleeves are a bit cheap, but fortunately, my copy arrived unscratched, so I'm thrilled! Especially considering the $50aud price on Amazon compared to the $500-$800 older pressings go for. Haha!
Neither of my discs have that "MPO" marking on the runout, even though it's the European version. Both records are a bit bent, but they still spin just fine.
This one might of been made in Singapore. My version has a BMG promo card from Singapore inside the CD case.
The person who snapped these pics, clearly ain't got a clue. Like, this thing defs came out recent, ya know?
