I went into this purchase with my eyes wide open, having heard most of these versions or mixes on other bootlegs and deluxe editions before. Some tracks sound as great as you'd hope from a Motorhead studio recording, but at least half of this album suffers from poor audio quality due to the sources used. It's still an amazing listen if you're a fan, but it's really only for those hardcore completists out there. As for the pressing, it was flawless right out of the sleeve, needing no serious cleaning. No pops, ticks, or surface noise (other than what's on the original material), and probably the best mastering we'll ever get for these particular versions. Still an A+ release in my book. But remember, your mileage may vary.

This is a EXCLUSIVE drop: exclusive in poor quality and low quantity. So there's a small amount of pressings that punishes a small group of purchasers with a underwhelming, subpar audio. That's the only comfort.
Quite a letdown, honestly. The sound's incredibly weak (even for the usual quality of these tracks), both discs are a bit warped and side 4 is pressed horribly off-centre. And the mastering? Terrible - Overkill starts playing halfway through the side 3 run-in. Never seen anything like that before!
