Gorgeous pressing both inside n out! An art insert, like many VMP release would've been way better than the "listening notes" (truth be told, anything would've been better) but hey....it's all 'bout the music, ain't it?! Grab it!
This album's got a really captivating sound - from those synth tunes kicking off the tracks to the abstract jazz-funk vibes towards the end, it's an absolutely brilliantly put-out album ...

VMP's reissue is fantastic! I wouldn't have considered adding this to my collection, but I'm really glad they released it.
Cada álbum de Herbie Hancock es como un enigma que te lleva por un camino nuevo, lleno de instantes brillantes y otros que te dejan perplejo. Es, sin duda, el músico más intrigante que he descubierto últimamente. Este disco, en particular, es uno de mis predilectos (hasta ahora) por los instrumentos y el sonido que utiliza. Creo que junto a "Thrust", son mis favoritos. El bajo de Jaco Pastorius en los últimos segundos de "4AM" es simplemente increíble. Lo único malo es que se queda corto. El lacquer lo cortó la gran Marta Alvear. No he podido compararlo con el original de EE.UU., pero por ahora estoy satisfecho con esta edición. Quizás no tenga toda la calidez y potencia de graves de las ediciones originales estadounidenses, algo esencial para un disco de Funk como este, pero está muy bien equilibrado, con dinámicas bien definidas. El sonido del bajo tiene toda la presencia necesaria sin opacar al resto.
