I stumbled upon this CD for a couple of bucks and it blew me away in more ways than one. Herbie's playing is phenomenal and the guest artists are a delight!

Nearly two decades post-release, "Possibilities" still stands strong, proving itself as a top-notch album. It's adorned just right to highlight Hancock's brilliance in composition, arrangement, and collaboration—he truly has a knack for making everyone shine. Smooth enough for wide appeal and radio play, yet it subtly raises the musical bar. "Possibilities" is rich with layers and depth. Initially, the first side of the first vinyl disc had some crackles, even after cleaning it twice. But they disappeared after a few more cleanings and a playthrough. All in all, the quality of the pressing is outstanding and the sound is incredibly clear.
