I'd say this is my top pick by Bob and the Winchester press is simply outstanding.
This Bob Marley album is my absolute favorite. I fell in love with it right away. Every song is not only incredibly catchy but also deeply meaningful. The last two tracks on Side B, "Runnin' Away" and "Time Will Tell," really got me thinking, and I played them back-to-back three times. Even now, I haven't listened to any other LP as much as this one. From the very first riff of "Easy Skankin'," Side 1 is packed with great tracks. Side 2 is just as strong, starting with the haunting ballad "She's Gone." Bob Marley pulls the listener deeper into his world and the essence of Reggae. While there might be more significant or militant records in Reggae or Marley's discography, none have had such a profound impact on Western audiences. The lyrics are emotionally deep and wise, paired with mellow vibes and beautiful melodies.
This is a great sounding re-release of this amazing Bob Marley & the Wailers album.
I gotta say, this album by Bob Marley and The Wailers is absolutely their finest work.Everything about it is just pure magic.
