Product Description

Parkway Drive, the Australian metalcore titans, unleashed their fifth studio album, "Ire," on September 25, 2015, under the renowned Epitaph label. Clocking in at a punchy 48 minutes, this album is a relentless journey through the raw and aggressive landscapes of metalcore and deathcore. With ten tracks, including the title track "Ire" and fan favorites like "Vicious" and "The Sound of Violence," Parkway Drive delivers a sonic assault that showcases their signature blend of brutal breakdowns, soaring melodies, and Winston McCall's powerful vocals. "Ire" is a testament to Parkway Drive's evolution and their ability to craft an album that is both musically intricate and emotionally charged. From the crushing heaviness of "Destroyer" to the haunting melodies of "A Deathless Song," this album is a must-experience for any fan of intense, high-energy metal.

Whether a review is positive, negative, or neutral, we always publish it. However, we screen every review to ensure it is authentic and free of profanity. These checks happen automatically, though a human occasionally steps in. We never pay for reviews.

  • Bass Recording Flaws

    3 out of 5 stars
    hiru998423 September 2025United States🇺🇸

I'm baffled by how they managed to record this. I've got a lowpass filter set up on my receiver for the sub, sending anything below 80 Hz to it. But with this CD, it's like the kick drum is the only thing making it through, and even that's coming from the mids. Apart from that, the recording's decent, but the bass is definitely off.

  • Loud, Powerful Classic Pressing

    5 out of 5 stars

For those who adore this album, this is a fantastic pressing. It's mastered loud and powerful, with a sound that really hits hard, and the etching has that classic bedrock feel to it.
