Product Description

Parkway Drive returns with their sixth studio album, "Reverence," a relentless journey through the realms of metalcore, metal, and deathcore. Released on May 4, 2018, under Epitaph Records, this 42-minute sonic assault is a testament to the band's evolution and their unyielding intensity.

"Reverence" opens with the haunting melodies of "Wishing Wells," setting the stage for the raw power that follows. Tracks like "Prey" and "Absolute Power" showcase Parkway Drive's signature blend of brutal breakdowns and soaring vocals, while "Cemetery Bloom" and "The Void" delve into darker, more atmospheric territories. The album's title track, "Reverence," is a standout, combining crushing riffs with poetic lyricism.

With "Reverence," Parkway Drive continues to push the boundaries of their genre, delivering an album that is both technically impressive and emotionally resonant. Fans of their previous work will find much to love here, while newcomers will be drawn in by the band's undeniable energy and creativity. Whether you're a long-time follower or a first-time listener, "Reverence" is an album that demands to be heard.

  • Poor Sound Quality

    3 out of 5 stars
    ioduoikv6 December 2025United States🇺🇸

This pressing is quite poor, the sound quality is muffled and lacks depth. I'd have been better off with the CD... Or maybe finding some FLAC files online. The music's alright I suppose but it's not as good as IRE (the album before this one).

  • Reevaluated, Enjoyable Moments

    4 out of 5 stars
    Fudlepk16610 August 2025United Kingdom🇬🇧

December 2018, alright, even though these guys share my love for the same bands, I've never really connected with their music. I've given it a shot, even played this album multiple times. It's just not for me - still not a fan of most of the vocals, but there are some solid tracks and a few cool riffs. August 2019, 'Prey' is a pretty alright song. I also picked up on some more nuances this time around - there's more diversity in the songs than I initially thought. Some nice shifts in tempo. 'The Void' has a really cool riff and the vocals aren't bad at all. 'Shadow Boxing' is quite intriguing and 'The Colour of Leaving' is a haunting way to end the album. Bumped up the rating. 3.5 out of 5.

  • Vinyl's Annoying Black Blob

I'm curious about the 'black blob' on the vinyl. I received a piece with the same color as yours, and it's really ticking me off.

  • Disappointing Scratched Vinyl

    3 out of 5 stars
    Fi65if.Awidugsi5 April 2025United States🇺🇸

I gotta say, I was super pumped to spin this album on vinyl, snatched it up from my local shop right away. But man, was I let down when I saw it had some pretty bad scratches and scuffs, so both sides have these super noticeable clicks. Sure, it's metalcore, so on most tracks you won't hear it, but during those quiet moments, it's just so irritating. I'm really bummed, wouldn't recommend this version. But hey, maybe you'll get a better copy than me.P.S. The record itself is a masterpiece!
