This album is absolutely fantastic. That being said, this particular pressing is quite hushed. I can't quite tell if it's just my copy, but any little flaw in the groove really stands out. Be sure to grab a copy that's in tip-top condition. It might just be mine (definitely VG), but it's better to be cautious.
This is indeed the Back To Black edition of the release - it carries the same Craft label and catalogue number and barcode but it's not the same tip-on sleeve version as the US release, though the release itself is the one from Craft US
Awesome album, super relaxed vibe. Hilarious album title too. Really pleased with this reissue, even though it's an early one. Sound quality is excellent, with great dynamics and minimal noise. Can't compare it to the original pressing, but I'm thrilled with this one... fantastic deal!
How is it that this Enterprise label Canadian release is marked as "has yellow Stax label" ???
Initially, I was a tad disappointed to find out it's a DMM after purchasing, but once I gave it a spin, it sounded fantastic - spacious and warm. The DMM actually enhances the clarity here, as everything is smooth and distinct, making it a commendable reissue. I had another reissue from the 90s that was decent, but this one's superior, with a better soundstage and more profound bass.
