I'm really let down by my purchase of this vinyl record. It's not because the music is bad—I actually really enjoy this album and would generally suggest it to others—but because this album, along with the other two I ordered from this label, arrived in awful shape. The vinyl is so noisy that it completely ruins the listening experience, with pops and clicks that are especially noticeable in ambient music like this. I think it's unacceptable to deliver a product in such a state. I've been trying to clean the records for a week now and still can't eliminate all the noise. This has been my consistent experience with all the vinyl albums I've bought from this label. It's possible that a cleaning machine could remove all the noise, but I don't think most consumers can easily afford something like that. I certainly can't, and I believe any pressing that can't be cleaned well enough by a regular person to allow for uninterrupted listening is simply not good enough. I truly think Sidereal needs to improve the quality control of their vinyl pressings, and I would NOT advise anyone to buy this unless they have a cleaning machine that can eliminate all the grime on the records. This particular album gave me a really bad experience: my transparent version arrived with a deep, audible scratch. So I had to return it and instead got the swamp green version. However, this one also arrived with an imperfection, though at least this time it wasn't audible. I should have sent it back too, but I'm tired of dealing with this and I simply won't buy another vinyl album from this label.
Initial pressing and launch - black vinyl edition but it's actually a very dark green see-through. It plays alright but the sound is awful. It's dull, flat, and muted. It lacks that sparkle, it's a poor press, and it's dirty and noisy. I don't agree with the comment that it sounds okay. The record was filthy and needed multiple ultrasonic cleans. It was played on a very high-end system costing over £250k with a Lyra cartridge worth over £9k.
Stunning is the perfect word for this release. Stunning crystal clear see-through vinyl with the same stunning crystal clear audio. Stunning gatefold cover with an included booklet featuring stunning individual artwork for each song. Sidereal Records at their absolute best.

I must say, I'm rather let down with my purchase of this vinyl record. It's not because the music is subpar (it's actually a fantastic album that I'd usually endorse), but because this album, along with the other two I ordered from this label, arrived in quite a poor state. The vinyl is so full of noise that it completely overshadows the music; the pops and clicks are particularly harsh on ambient music like this. I find it utterly unacceptable to deliver a product in such a condition. I've been attempting to clean the records for over a week now, and I still can't eliminate all the noise. This has been a recurring issue with all the vinyl albums I've bought from this label. While it's possible that a cleaning machine could remove all the noise, I don't believe most consumers can easily afford such a device. I certainly can't, and I think any pressing that can't be adequately cleaned by an average person to allow for a pop and click-free listening experience is simply not up to standard. I genuinely believe that Sidereal needs to improve the quality control of their vinyl pressings, and I would NOT advise anyone to buy this unless they possess a cleaning machine capable of removing all the grime from the records. This particular album gave me a rather unpleasant experience: my transparent version arrived with a deep, audible scratch. So, I had to return it and was instead sent the swamp green version. However, this one also arrived with a flaw, albeit not an audible one this time. I probably should have sent it back too, but I'm exhausted from dealing with this and I simply won't be buying another vinyl album from this label.
