so there's a crackling sound issue in the right channel. but the seller's already sending me a replacement. hope they fix the label and press new records
Awesome tunes, but the pressing's not so good. There's surface noise and crackling at the start of side A, right channel. Gave it 4 Degritter heavy cleans and it sounds way better now.

Magnus Birgersson's follow-up album is packed with trancey ambient tunes. I must admit, the beginning is a bit harsh, and I'm struggling to connect with most of the tracks. The sounds just don't allow me to unwind and enjoy them. Then, when the pace picks up around the middle, I find myself in some strange place where I don't feel comfortable. But towards the end, there are some truly lovely, chilled-out, and floating melodies to be discovered. All in all, this album leaves me quite puzzled, and I can't help but play it repeatedly to figure out what's really happening. It's a solid album, no question about it, but I was hoping for something a bit softer.
This is absolutely rubbish. I won't go over what I said in my Reflective Frequencies (demastered) review - just check out the 2003 original CD or even the original 2008 Bandcamp version and ask Magnus about it. By the way, there's no credit given anywhere for who mastered this one, but I can tell you straight up it's Robert Elster.
