Can't find a single thing to gripe about. Snagged Beach House through VMP, and wow, it's fantastic. Just like always, their pressings are top-notch, barely any hiss, and the sound is crisp... Plus, the packaging is absolutely stunning!
Without a doubt, this is the superior version of this album. I've got the VMP edition too, but this one blows it out of the water. The pink color suits the album's atmosphere better, and the labels are more legible, just saying. Don't miss out on this one!
Absolutely stunning all around. VMP knocked it out of the park with the packaging and GZ did a great job on the pressing. The sheer impact and sound quality of the album is unparalleled, better than I've ever experienced it. If you're a fan, you gotta treat yourself to one of these! It's a must-have!
While the initial copy I received had some surface hisses, slight bending, and a bit of bothersome crackling at the start of each track, this pressing is wonderfully mastered and sounds fantastic. I got a replacement that's much quieter, though I still catch some crackling at the beginning of a few tunes, but it's way better. Disc 2 has a noticeable bend but it doesn't mess with playback. Still super happy with this pressing, the pink color is gorgeous and the sound quality is top-notch!!
Mine looks great and it's flat, but the track order is a bit odd. It's a, b on one side, then a, b again on the other, instead of a, b, c, d. At least disc 2 has the right tracks on both sides.
