Chet being separate from the orchestra on the mastering isn’t for me personally it leaves too much happening on one side making the experience, less immersive if you’re looking for a fuller sound, I wouldn’t recommend this

Not my favorite Chet out there with the heavy orchestration behind him. There are a couple of bright spots both vocally and with the horn, but overall somewhere in the middle for me. Glad to have it in my collection as it is a great example of the early period of his playing and singing, but I prefer his sound in a small group or live much better.
