Minimal surface noise, great look. Includes a poly-lined slip which is a nice extra.
Everything's perfect with my version - the pressing is top-notch and this EP is fantastic!
Snagged it at a discount. Initially, I had doubts about the audio quality based on some other feedback. But, I was pleasantly surprised. Pressed at 45 rpm, it's incredibly clear and has a vibrancy that the digital copy lacks. Elbow is absolutely killing it right now.
Another try, another copy, but still encountering issues. Initially purchased from Amazon, and now from a European record shop. The first one arrived warped with excessive noise on the A side. This new copy is perfectly flat, yet still has background noise on the A side. There's a persistent tapping sound from a disc imperfection during the first 20 seconds of the A side, quite annoying. Even after cleaning, the issue remains. It's tough to spot the problem since the vinyl is white. I'm curious if anyone has received a flawless copy of this EP.
The record I have has a wavy appearance, and there's quite a bit of surface noise on the A side.
