  rip2020 on vinyl is quite the oddity, it's astonishingly clear and sharp even though it's packed with heavy, dense noise. This album is definitely up there with my top boris records, the blend between boris and merzbow is just spot on. One issue I've got, more with the music than the vinyl itself, is that merzbow can be a tad too dominant in the mix, overshadowing the rest of the band. I get it, it's a MERZBOW collab after all, but it's worth mentioning. The vinyl is flawless, no complaints about the sound or the look, it feels like it was made for vinyl because the digital version just doesn't hit the same. Plus, the disc is stunning

  I got my record and it's got all the sides, unlike what others mentioned in their reviews. This album sounds incredible! It's super quiet, apart from that weird harsh noise in the back (just kidding). The only issue I had was that it came with those rough paper sleeves which made the records all staticky. I swapped them out for rice paper sleeves real quick. As for the music, this might just be one of my top picks from this team-up. The sound mix is phenomenal and it's so cool hearing them do "Boris".
