An incredible album packed with power and melody. It's the ultimate collection of songs for a LIVE record. The energy is absolutely electrifying, and the solos by guitarist Matthias Jabs are flawlessly executed. Jabs is phenomenal live, constantly moving around yet delivering some of the best solos you'll ever hear. Both Matthias and Joshua Perahia are, hands down, my all-time favorite guitarists. While many of my friends rave about Yngwie and his never-ending, repetitive solos, I'll always choose Jabs and Perahia. This album remains my favorite live album of all time.....
Grabbed this one on a whim for a steal. I'm not a massive Scorpions enthusiast or anything, but I'd heard it's a lively live album. They weren't lying. It's a lively live album indeed! The sound quality is pretty decent too.
In '84, I caught their live show, and this album's got all the tracks they played that night. The sound quality's phenomenal, and the vinyl's top-notch too. If you're new to the Scorpions, this is a fantastic pick. Trust me, you won't be let down. They're an incredible live act, and every single song's a gem.
This album is absolutely amazing! I picked it up when I was just a kid back in '85, I think I paid around 13 bucks for it. It's always been a favorite on my turntable. Even after all these years, it's still one of my top live albums! This thing is unbelievable! I can still recall all the excitement around that tour. What a fantastic trip down memory lane!
The West German version of this CD delivers an amazing sound quality. In my view, it has the finest transfer and production of the original recordings.
