Timeless show by an awesome band! This album came out prior to The Scorps gaining massive fame in the US, yet they were already superstars in Japan and beyond. The record's quality is pretty standard for its time. The performance is electrifying, with the mix heavily favoring the guitars. I first got this in '78, but it was only available as an import back then. One of my all-time favorite live albums.
Scorpions, yeah! Incredible album & once the tracks kick in on Side 2, it's just non-stop brilliance! One of those 'turn it up, it only gets better' recordings. Plus, it's pressed on super-quiet vinyl too.
Yet another Japanese series, been waiting for this for 30 years and it's fantastic. Awesome rock band with an early killer lineup! The pressing quality is pretty decent, nice mix too.
In my opinion, this is one of the greatest live albums I've ever listened to. It must've been an incredible show to attend and is definitely worth purchasing if you have the chance to catch them live and want to bring that experience home. Unlike many live albums, the performances here are just as good, if not better, than the original studio recordings. The band's talent is evident, and their playing adds so much personality to these songs. Plus, on vinyl, it feels so much more immersive than just streaming it through your headphones.
I've got the exact same version, but it's missing the price code. Instead, there's a black square where the round price code should be. Anyone need a fresh copy or just another version of this?
