Fantastic audio pressing! Arrives spotless and flawless, right alongside my blue vinyl copy of Ray of Light, it's just perfect!
What a letdown. This is just a rehash of remixes that were already out there, either on promo vinyl or CD. The remix of "Frozen" is a mess, mashing up the Widescreen Mix and William Orbit's Drumapella, but the editing's so bad and the sources are so mismatched that it's baffling someone thought this was a good idea. The demo track at the end has been floating around forever, and it's just a cheap trick to lure in unsuspecting buyers. And let's be real, the track's a disaster.
Useless release, you can find these same remixes in the maxi singles and other albums, nothing new or different from the original unique ones
I couldn't get the silver edition, but I'm thrilled they re-released it (and it's even more affordable!). The glossy finish is gorgeous, although it does show scratches and blemishes more easily. The ultra clear vinyl is stunning too, mine is flawless and sounds incredible! I hadn't really explored the remixes before, so I'm just happy that 'Ray of Light' has a companion now.
Great remixes... The quality of the pressing is above average, the record lies flat, apart from the occasional noise or sound, which isn't too bothersome, it plays smoothly and without any distortion (perhaps after a wash, it might improve even more over time). The audio is fantastic, the packaging is really well done and top-notch, inside and out. It's definitely a visual and auditory treat. I'd recommend giving it a listen.
