Mind-blowing remaster, the tunes sound incredible with perfect audio quality for the main tracks, who cares if the remixes are in mp3? The old pumping effect doesn't mess with the mix anymore.
I'm pretty open-minded when it comes to music and films, and this Madonna album is no exception—it's got a certain appeal and does exactly what it's supposed to. The pressing is above average (I don't get the fuss about the color...), the records have some waves (1st one less, 2nd one more), but they play smoothly (just a couple of pops), with no distortion. The sound quality is fantastic, it's rich and detailed, the bass is just right, not overpowering the other instruments, and I didn't notice any compression. The stereo image is spacious and well-defined. The cover is nice and sturdy, but I wish it came with a cool inner sleeve for the records. It's funny how even a dance album like this sounds different, more natural and enjoyable, since I started listening to vinyl. I'd definitely recommend it. Enjoy...Played on: Technics SL-100C, Ortofon Concorde Music Bronze, Rega Fono MM MK5, Technics SU-G700M2, Yamaha NS-777/NS-333, Vinyl Cleaner Pro-Ject VC-E.
Undoubtedly Madonna's top disco album, boasting superior song quality, diverse sounds, and impressive mixes. This album is exceptionally well-crafted, far surpassing her earlier works like 'A Ray of Light' and 'Music.' It's a must-have for any Madonna fan.
Over time, the pages in this booklet keep sticking together 😫. They really should've used matte paper instead of glossy.
This record is among my all-time faves. The quality is spot on. The bass and overall sound are fantastic, but there's some irritating hissing and sibilance that's present all through the album. It's particularly noticeable in 'Hung Up'.
