The initial copy I got had scratches and various marks on the records, a few of them are a bit bent (which makes the tonearm skip). I bought 3 replacement copies from Amazon before I found one that was okay. The music is fantastic and the mastering is too! It's absolutely worth it to find a flawless copy.
Pretty decent pressing overall. It arrives with polylined inner sleeves, no scratches or hairlines in sight. The gatefold sleeve boasts top-notch print quality. The vinyls have a smooth finish and are quite heavy. Honestly, I wasn't expecting this level of quality, and since I don't have the original press to compare... It sounds fantastic with an Ortofon 2M red stylus.
I grabbed 4 copies of this album, but finally found one that's perfect. So lucky with this release, it sounds amazing on a high-end system! Wayyyyy better than anything else I've heard this album on before. 5 stars just for the flawless copies (since they're truly awesome).
This is an awesome release! The hard cover is top-notch and the vinyl colors are stunning! Just gotta swap out the innersleeves for some antistatic ones, though!
The packaging is absolutely stunning. It features some really neat color lithography and fantastic 180 gram off white vinyls. The sound quality is top-notch. As for the album, it's just alright, I personally prefer the original unremixed versions but that's a whole other story.
