The audio quality is fantastic for the era and setting. The images and essay by Thurston Moore really enhance the packaging. It's a fantastic release, I'd highly suggest it!
First time hearing this and am I missing something or are these tracks pretty much the same as the ones in the box set? Super lazy question.
This is an amazing addition to the box set, featuring 4 distinct live performances. The recordings were captured via soundboard and have been clearly cleaned up. The printed dust sleeves showcase the posters from each show on either side. There are some neat photos of the three band members around the ages of 19-21 (pre-moustache Greg) and a lengthy essay by Thurston Moore (pretty cool, it captures the vibe but is a tad too long for its purpose). The packaging is absolutely top-notch. It’s definitely worth buying.
