In my opinion, this is one of the greatest hardcore albums of all time. It's kind of a mix of what would later become Metal Circus and some elements of Land Speed Record. The record is an ideal blend of hardcore and the early stages of Hüskers' melodic songwriting. It's innovative, independent hardcore, and Everything Falls Apart is one of their best tracks ever.
Even with the main song, this album's got plenty of fluff. Why bother repeating BRICKLAYER when the best take's already out there? It's definitely their weakest studio effort.
