Absolutely stunning and unique. It's like being right there in the audience at Ronnie Scott's while Mingus plays. Fantastic work all around. If you got this at the regular price, I reckon it's a bargain. Three perfectly silent, flat, and masterfully pressed 180g vinyl records. Plus, there's a really nice gatefold to complement it. If you're a hardcore Mingus fan, I don't think you'd be let down even if you paid $200 for it. That being said, I'm sure we'll see some kind of reissue in the future.

I'm equally grateful to own this remarkably recorded and mastered album. The pressing is perfectly silent and pristine. I've been a Charles Mingus fan ever since I witnessed him perform live in '74 at SMU in Dallas.

Just beautiful and original. Feels like I’m sitting right there at Ronnie Scott’s as Mingus plucks away. Wonderful job all around. If you scored this at regular price, in my opinion it is a steal. 3 dead silent, flat, beautifully mastered 180g vinyl records. Not to mention a really nice gatefold to go with it. If you’re a die hard Mingus fan, I don’t think you’d be disappointed even if you paid $200 for it. With that said, I’m sure we’ll se some sort of repress in the future.

I gotta say, I'm just glad I didn't have any regrets about camping out front of a record shop the eve of this legend's 100th birthday to snag a copy of this beautifully recorded and pressed album. It's like Bernie Grundman's out here on the most well-earned victory lap in record pressing history, and I bet working on something as important as this was a real blast for him and RTI. Kudos, guys!
