Great job on Jackszk's album. It's true prog, with stunning guitars and fantastic vocals. The songs are quite unique, and the King Crimson lineup brings all the groove that counts! Two masterpieces: The Trouble With Angels and Under Lock and Key, plus a King Crimson's ProjeCKt track: Separation.
I concur with the comment above. The mastering is truly disappointing. The pressing is alright, but it won't magically improve the sound. It's a real letdown for music of this caliber.
This album is like a dictionary of everything that's great about prog. It gathers the best elements from the genre and, in a way, reminds me of Steven Wilson's Raven album (which is essentially a tribute to classic prog records). It's got Jakko's signature sound, some jazz influences here and there, and plenty of Mellotron to give you that King Crimson vibe. Not a single weak spot on this one.
