Product description

"A Scarcity of Miracles" is a captivating journey into the world of progressive rock, art rock, and symphonic rock, masterfully crafted by Jakko M. Jakszyk in collaboration with legendary musicians from King Crimson. Released on May 30, 2011, under the Discipline Global Mobile label, this album is a testament to the artistic prowess of Jakszyk, Robert Fripp, Mel Collins, Tony Levin, and Gavin Harrison.

The album's six-track lineup, spanning a total of 43 minutes, is a harmonious blend of intricate instrumentation and thought-provoking lyrics. Jakszyk's versatile talents as a guitarist, vocalist, and keyboardist shine through, complemented by Fripp's iconic guitar work, Collins' masterful saxophone and flute performances, and Levin's distinctive bass and Chapman Stick playing. Harrison's drumming adds a dynamic rhythm section, rounding out the ensemble's unique sound.

The album opens with "A Scarcity of Miracles," a track that sets the tone for the introspective and philosophical themes explored throughout the record. "The Price We Pay" and "Secrets" delve into the complexities of human relationships and personal struggles, while "This House" and "The Other Man" offer a glimpse into the darker aspects of society and the human condition. The album concludes with "The Light of Day," a poignant reflection on the passage of time and the search for meaning in life.

"A Scarcity of Miracles" is not just an album; it's a sonic exploration of the human experience, expertly crafted by some of the most talented musicians in the progressive rock genre. With its intricate compositions, powerful performances, and thought-provoking lyrics, this album is a true gem for fans of progressive, art, and symphonic rock.
